Its been a while...

It sure has been a long time since i have posted anything....i am currently reading Brisinger it has its dull moments but is a very well written book...Lately i have been wishing to write a book of my own but i fear my skill and patience would fail me to get past writting the third chapter. I feel that everyone has a book deep inside them but only a select few decide to write it down. My cousin is one of those select few he is out of college now and almost done with it. But of course he started his writings when he was very young. Maybe I can write a short novel instead...What if one could live the book...rather then just read it. If so there would be not one who would turn such a thing down. Sometimes though when I am reading that is what I feel. If everyone would give a good book a chance they might discover a liking to them. The peace they offer in my opinion can be found no where else. Some say that it is the schools that teach us to hate books, but that isn't completly true.Although it is a chore to read an old english poems such as the Odysseus or Beowulf to some, to others it can be seen as enjoyable. But if one could relive the pages of a book for a short time that would be change things...

The Sea Of Monsters (Rick Riodoran)

When reading these books I slowly begin to notice that the reader is getting somewhat of a Classical education. This book taught me a lot about the Olympian gods and was also very interesting.
The second book in the Olympian series The Sea of Monsters starts out ,like the first, with Percy getting in trouble at school constantly. But Percy makes a new friend named Tyson, he’s big but dorky so he is continuosly made fun of by the other kids and Percy must protect him ,but later on in the book Tyson offers his help to Percy many times in a much bigger way.
When Percy arrives back at camp half-blood he finds it under attack by two golden minatours which he has to fight of with the help of Clarissa,Ares’ kid. Thaila’s tree was supposed to supply the camp with magical boarders that would not let the monsters in. But the tree has been poisoned. The magical borders around the camp are weakening and monsters are breaking through. And the camps counselor Dionysus thinks that Percy’s friend Chiron is to blame. Therefore he gets fired from camp and Percy couldn’t be the madder.
So Percy goes on a quest to save the tree and his best friend Grover from the angry Cyclops that captured him. Percy’s wacky adventures are constantly surprising you! This was a great book that will keep your hands itching for the third!

These are about the leader of the Forest Guard in Chosen. The first one is Black the second is Red and the third is White. I just got these three today and am going to read them. As soon as I am finished I will write about Black.
Black(back of book)
"Fleeing his assailants through deserted alleyways, Thomas Hunter narrowly escapes to the roof of a building. Then a silent bullet from the night clips his head...and his world goes black.
From the blackness comes an amazing reality of another world-a world where evil is contained. A world where Thomas Hunter is in love with a beautiful woman.
But then he remembers the dream of being chased through an alleyway as he reaches to touch the blood on his head. Where does the dream end and reality begin?
Every time he falls asleep in one world, he awakes in the other, Yet in both, catastrophic disaster awaits him... may even be caused by him.
Some say the world hangs in the balance of every choice we make. now the fate of two worlds hangs in the balance of one man's choices."
